Continue to Support Our Troops

With our success at the Craft 'N Chat held after the Voters' Assembly On November 9, we are continuing to collect supplies.

The Board of Christian Education and the Board of Evangelism are adopting the 90 troops in National Guard Company B, 1/178th Infantry based out of Elgin. The Unit is being deployed to Afghanistan for approximately one year. This Unit will be part of the Provincial Reconstruction Team and will be working with the multi-national forces. The solders will be securing the areas that are going to be rebuilt, among other security duties in connection with the rebuilds. This is the second or third deployment for many of the soldiers.
